L.E.A.N. Expectations Workshop
This is a series of workshops that will teach you (whether you are preparing for pregnancy, expecting or a nursing mom) how to care for yourself and your baby. The program is made up of three indivdual workshops, each two hours long. The workshops will focus on lifestyle, exercise, attitude and nutrition - all of which are important before, during and after pregnancy. Learn how to feel great, eat great and be positive for you and your baby.
L.E.A.N. Start Workshop
This is a series for interactive, educational classes for families with kids ages 3 to 12. The workshops will help you develop a lifetime of healthy habits for you and your family that will ensure that everyone behaves better, sleeps better and learns better. You will learn how to shop for quality food and make easy, nutritious home-cooked meals your entire family will enjoy. You will also learn ways to keep your family active and positive. You will have a happier, stronger, healthier family.
Pantry Makeover
In this one hour session, we will work together to create a healthier shopping list using the Traffic Light Eating guidelines. We will go over the contents of your pantry and try to find healthier substitutions that are healthier but just as delicious. You will learn how to make L.E.A.N Traffic Light Shopping List.
Smart Shopping Trip
In a Smart Shopping Trip you will learn how to shop for you and your family using tools which include label reading and traffic light eating. You will also learn quick tips on what to look for when buying packaged products. This session is conducted in two parts: at home and at the grocery and takes just about an hour.
Pre- & Post-Natal Fitness Education Workshop
Your body works overtime both before and after your pregnancy. This workshop will help you to understand the changes your body is going through and assist you in creating fitness goals that are appropriate for each stage of your pregnancy. You will learn about body alignment and awareness, muscular and cardiovascular endurance, stretching and relaxation.
Corporate Wellness
Employee health and wellness is the key to productivity and success within any organisation. Wellness can be quite a challenge for businesses because it requires substancial financial and time commitments and employees are sometimes resistant. This package is targeted to employess with greater health care expenditures including prenatal and postpartum women and employees with children. It is interactive, engaging, affordable and looks at lifestyle as opposed to elimination.

My Superfoods
1 Oats
One third of a cup of oat bran has 7 grams of protein, 6 grams of fibre and iron, zinc, vitamin E and B vitamins. This makes it an ideal food especially for breakfast for growing kids.
2 Tofu
Tofu contains protein, fibre, vitamin A, thiamin, folic acid, calcium, zinc, iron, unsaturated fats and has anti-cancer phytonutrients. Not to mention it's cholesterol free!
3 Beans & Lentils
Like nuts and seeds, beans pack a powerful punch. They are a great source of protein, fibre, riboflavin, vitamin B-6, folic acid and iron. Not to mention they are intestine-friendly.
4 Avocado
High in vitamins B, A and E, it is also a great source of fibre, folic acid, zinc and thiamine. Avocados are great for growing kids because they are full of heart healthy monounsaturated fats with no cholesterol.
5 Broccoli
Broccoli is a super versatile veggie. It has vitamins A and C, folic acid, beta caroten and anti-cancer phytonutrients.

Nuts and seeds are more nutrient dense than many foods. They are rich in protein, fibre, B vitamins, folic acid, calcium, iron, zinc, vitamin E and selenium. They also contain heart healthy fats.

These are high in Vitamins A and C as well as in carotenoids like lycopene that promote good health.
